CIC built my detached studio from provided plans over the course of Summer 2018 and I am thrilled with the end result. I love these guys. They showed up every day, on time, ready to go with a can-do attitude. When we hit a bump in the road, they exhibited flexibility and creative problem solving and worked with us as the project expanded to include additional deck work. Duane and the crew not only executed the technical aspects of constructing my new studio, they invested themselves in the spirit and aesthetics of the project. They exhibited a professional approach, a real concern for the quality of their work and a sense of integrity which is uncommon, but very welcome, these days. Thanks, CIC!

We hired CIC to remove a fiberglass shower unit and build a custom tiled steam/shower with a seat. We planned the project together with Duane from CIC step by step and all work was performed in the time specified, at the price estimated and with perfect clean-up and no disruption to our household. I have been satisfied with the work that Duane and the CIC crew have done for me. They have been professional, friendly and always quick to return my calls. They were attentive to our vision for the project, and they helped us find ways to complete it that were within our budget. I also appreciated their efforts to reduce waste of materials. They were also flexible and considerate of our schedule. I would highly recommend CIC.

Before I had my house built I had horror stories from other people about the process. Nightmare delays and costs. Problems with sub-contractors and sub-standard work...etc, etc,etc, Well, my experience with CIC was precisely the opposite. CIC was an absolute dream to work with. They assisted or handled every step from designing the floor plans with to helping move in! Most of the quality of the work was great and the worst of it was very good. They had or found excellent subcontractors in the area and clearly know there way around dealing with all the pitfalls of inspectors, and timing aspects of home building. These guys showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would, got things done when they said they would, and it all cost what I was told it would cost. As with most home owners, I changed plans on them a number of times (which drives up the price of course). Rather than be difficult they laid out the cost and options for each of these changes and I was given some great advice that often produced a better result (and even lower costs) than what I had in mind! I can think of nothing I would rather do than build another house with these guys. I wish I could start tomorrow!

CIC not only took care of both an addition and a later re-grading plus installation of surface water drain system, they did these projects while we were away. We trusted them completely to do a great job and we were not disappointed. The owner was very sensitive to our financial limitations and the specific needs of both projects and went the extra mile to be sure he brought in the necessary expertise to do everything we wanted. His forthrightness is to be commended.

I personally watched the CIC crew build my garage form the ground up. Having been in the construction business building multi-million dollar homes in the SF Bay area as a carpenter I know what to look for in terms of shoddy work, short nailing, etc. CIC's crew did an excellent job of building a rather complex foundation and wall, excavating framing painting finish concrete work. Every point of the way was checked and rechecked by the foreman and redone if not to his satisfaction. They went the extra mile as well during cleanup , leaving the worksite in better condition than prior to the project. Job was completed per the agreed upon price and CIC even suggested an alternative solution to stay within my budget. I would use them again in a heartbeat and plan to hire this company again for several more projects. The secret is to understand WHAT you want and expect and communicate it to CIC and you'll not go wrong.

Duane and his crew were always on time and did an exceptional job. I felt their price was reasonable and that they delivered above and beyond what they quoted on several occasions. I could always rely on them to come back when called to address any issues that may have come up with the project.

Although I have listed this as a remodel, it was closer to an addition - it started as a dirt-floor, walk-out basement, and is now two spacious, light rooms and a bathroom. CIC developed and provided a detailed budget layout and defined schedule during the bid process. After some puts and takes, we agreed on a contract. He managed to both the schedule and the budget with no surprises. Highly recommended.

They did a great job for us. The contractor not only was knowledgeable on resolving the problems of our older home, but was always available to answer our questions and concerns throughout the project and beyond. He and his sub-contractors were professional and courteous in all of our encounters. The work included new roofing, new HVAC system, refinishing of wood floors, electrical work, plumbing replacement, basement waterproofing & more. The contractor was also prompt and accurate in meeting the paperwork requirements of our loan and performing quality work to their standards..
